Entertainment Weekly unleashed a flurry of new info regarding Rogue One: A Star Wars Story today, hopefully bringing some much needed positive buzz to a project that has seen some controversy as of late surrounding re-shoots.
In the article via Entertainment Weekly, they highlight what to expect from the full expose in their upcoming issue and reveal the identity of some of the characters joining Felicity Jones- Jyn Erso, including Diego Luna as Captain Cassian Andor and Alan Tudyk’s mo-cap character, a droid named K-2SO.
The most exciting news is the confirmation that the Sith Lord Darth Vader will make his much anticipated to return to the big screen. Many have speculated as to weather or not we would see Vader in Rogue One, but with a story-line that takes place just before the events of A New Hope, it’s hard to imagine that Lord Vader would not be involved in some capacity. Information regarding Ben Mendelsohn’s character Dirctor Krennic reveals that he has the difficult task of working for Lord Vader, who has the history of force choking his under-performing, lower ranking subordinates.
